2 year old colt Way To Win gets the job done in style at Lingfield. The son of The Gurkha out of Oasis Dream mare Siesta Time was purchased at the Tattersalls Ireland September yearling sale in 2020 from Grange Hill stud. After two nice educational runs at both Redcar and Chelmsford, Way to Win took a step forward to win by 11 lengths over his 10 rivals at Lingfield racecourse on the 31st July. Enjoying the underfoot conditions Way to Win broke well and lead through the first half of the race, at the 3f pole it was clear the rest of the field weren’t going to come back to him and the colt extended his lead under a drive from apprentice jockey Christian Howarth.
