Friday 13th August saw two year old colt Tatsumaki make his debut at Newmarket race course. The son of Charming Thought, named after a Japanese tornado put in a memorable debut performance to sweep past a hot field in the 5:00pm Newmarket novice.

Breaking well and travelling strongly he was held up in mid field by jockey Neil Callan, who was having just his fifth ride back in the UK since returning from Hong Kong. Tatsumaki was going best 2f out and kept on strongly to always do enough and beat his 12 other rivals with dominance.

Tatsumaki was Purchased from the Norris Bloodstock consignment in 2020 and bred by Viscountess Trenchard.

Congratulations to owners Ahmed Bintooq and partner.
