Capla Rock broke her maiden on her third start at Nottingham on Thursday. The two year old filly jumped well from the stalls and settled in behind the leading group, before picking up nicely in the final furlong to go on to win the race by a comfortable 1 1/2 lengths under a brilliant ride by jockey Antonio Fresu.
The filly has bounced back after the race extremely well and we will now start to target future races for her. The win also came as an first for her owners Ventura Racing, Capla & P Barker and we are delighted to have secured a win for her owners.
