Just over a week since her first win at Chelmsford, Lady Red Moon continued her winning streak by landing the Unibet Fillies’ Nursery Handicap (Class 2) at Newmarket Racecourse on Saturday afternoon. The two year old filly was given a brilliant ride by stable apprentice and seven pound claimer, Stefano Cherchi to take the race by a neck to the second placed horse Imperial Gloriana.
The daughter of Havana Gold was purchased as a foal for 800gns and has since gone on to win two races from five starts and has picked up over £16,000 in prize money.
