Raven’s Lady ran a gallant race at York on Friday, landing the Group 3 William Hill Summer Stakes.The filly was given a brilliant ride by Gerald Mosse the pair started to make headway around 3f out , before being switched right towards stands’ rail and just holding Pretty Baby in the final 100 yards to win by a short head.
The win came as syndicate Heart of the South Racing’s first Group winner and we are delighted for all her connections.We would like to thank bloodstock agent Jamie Lloyd who purchased Raven’s Lady for us as a yearling for 38,000gns in the Tattersalls Book 1 Sale.
Raven’s Lady has come out of the race very well and holds upcoming entries for the Group 2 Goldene Peitsche at Baden- Baden and the Group 1 Prix Maurice De Gheest at Deauville.
