After an encouraging debut run at Haydock, Dark Acclaim won on his reappearance in the Terry Bellas Memorial Novice Stakes (Plus 10 Race) at Doncaster on Friday evening. The son of Dark Angel won the race by a comfortable 3 ½ lengths to the Sir Michael Stoute trained Qaroun.
The Middleham Park Racing Cxxi & Partners owned colt also landed the Plus 10 bonus for the win and has earned his owners over £14,000 in prize money. Marco was thrilled with the two-year-old’s performance and feels he has a bright future ahead of him.
